MAPrc to be launched by Her Excellency Ms Quentin Bryce AC CVO, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia

Her Excellency Ms Quentin Bryce AC CVO, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia has generously been the patron for MAPrc since 2010. Her Excellency will be visiting MAPrc in October to launch our new facilities.

Since first meeting with Professor Jayashri Kulkarni in 2009, the Governor General has been particularly keen to hear about the advances we are making in the development of new treatments for mental illnesses experienced by women. As our patron, her Excellency has assisted MAPrc to develop into a large mental health organisation with national impact and influence on clinical mental health practice informed by research.
